North Inch Golf Course. Perthshire. 2015

Volunteering at the North Inch

Got Some Spare Time On Your Hands?  Enjoy Working Outdoors?  Volunteer at the North Inch!

Our volunteer group have done some fantastic work in the past helping the greenkeepers to tackle some of the jobs on the course where a few extra pairs of hands make all the difference!

Following the closedown of the course at the start of the season we could use your help to get us back on top of a few jobs around the course so if you happen to have some spare time on your hands and you are fit and able to help out for a few hours then drop us an email or give us a call.  We can provide all of the necessary safety clothing (gloves, hi-vis vests, helmets etc) so you just need some suitable footwear for working outdoors.

Jobs that we might ask you to help out with will typically include:

  • weeding

  • raking bunkers

  • filling divots on tees and fairways

  • edging bunkers/paths

  • lopping branches

The volunteer group usually meet at 10am on a Wednesday morning and work until 1pm with a break for tea/coffee but if this time doesn't suit you just let us know and we can discuss other options.

Anyone who helps out for 3 hours is rewarded with a voucher for a free round of golf that they can use themselves or give to a friend to use!
