The Historic North Inch Golf Course
Ever since King James IV bought the first recorded set of golf clubs from a Perth bow maker back in 1502, golf has been at the heart of this famous City. For over 500 years golf has been played on ‘the Inch’ and it’s one of the worlds oldest golfing venues. Lying within the North Inch parkland and on the banks of the river Tay, it offers an enjoyable challenge to players of all abilities. Only a short iron shot from classical Georgian City of Perth and no more than an hours’ drive away for most Scottish golfers. The Historic North Inch Golf Course offers some of the best value golf in Perthshire and is a community course open for the enjoyment of members and visitors alike.
North Inch is a must play course for every golfer
North Inch is home of the Royal Perth Golfing Society, the world’s oldest ‘Royal’ club having been bestowed this honor in 1833, one year before the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews.
